Reptilians Breeding Facility has grown from humble beginnings to now boast one of the most awesome collections in South Africa. We have two breeding stations on the Westrand in South Africa. They are run and owned by Steven E Sousa and Angelo De Menezes. It all started much the same as with most people who own reptiles, we started with corn snakes, and we were infatuated with all the different colour morphs and patterns and just had to have them all. After so much time, patience and money being put into what was just a hobby, it eventually started paying for itself which allowed us to expand our variety and collection. We started producing some really stunning morphs, in fact we were the 1st in South Africa to breed corns such as the Ghost Stripe, Ghost Motley, Crimson, Butter and the Silver Stripe vanishing pattern corn snake. We are very proud of and dedicated to our collection, it has grown from just breeding corn snakes to breeding milk snakes, king snakes, pythons, Boas, geckos and lizards. All our blood lines are of exceptional quality, allot of effort goes into keeping our reptiles in an immaculately clean and healthy environment which in turn helps us breed quality reptiles, which are sold at our Pet Shops. Our goal is to produce exceptional quality reptiles and help grow this awesome hobby in South Africa, which is tiny compared to the market in the States and Europe. The good news is that this hobby is growing in leaps and bounds day by day thanks to everyone involved our fellow herpers. 

We have been thinking about opening a pet shop for a number of years now and through a large demand from our customers that we have acquired through the years of serving them through our breeding facility we decided to do just that. Our pet shops are in an immaculate condition, priding ourselves on the quality of animals and hardware sold to you. Our staff are friendly and between us we have a wide range of knowledge with all pets. We go the extra mile and customer service is our main objective, our strategy is not just to make a sale but to make a customer for life. Reptilians Pet Shop has a very homely feeling, a large portion of our clients keep coming back nearly every weekend with their children, just to touch a snake, hold a spider or stroke a bearded dragon which we always welcome. Reptilians Pet Shop currently have 2 branches the first branch is situated on the at No. 278 Main Road Bryanston, inside the Garden Shop Nursery, Our second branch is situated on the corner of 7th and New Road in Carlsworld Midrand, inside the Indigo Nursery. Reptilians On The Move is basically to promote awareness and conservation of reptiles, we target schools, shopping centers and do a lot of birthday parties, doing educational talks on our reptiles, also letting people touch and feel and hopefully change people’s perspective on these awesome creatures which are very often misconstrued to be evil.
